Photo Booth: A Picture-Perfect Business Prospect
If
you are looking for a business opportunity that requires relatively
small capital but shows much promise profit-wise, a photo booth fits
the bill. The first question you have to ask yourself is: do you want
to start from scratch or just purchase a franchise? Either way, there
are three things you should remember to ensure that your photo booth
business starts out right.
First:
have a business plan. Creative techniques for advertising and
marketing must be clear for the photo booth venture to take off. If
you're buying from a franchise company, make sure it has a
comprehensive strategy from the day of setup to daily operations. If
you're building it yourself, the business plan should include
location, manpower, salaries and equipment.
Next,
determine the clientele you want to capture. Photo booths are popular
at wedding receptions these days and you may want to get a piece of
the action. If there's too much competition in the wedding scene, try
corporate parties. You can also set up in malls and other public
places that teenagers frequent if you want to capture that young
market.
The
third thing you must not forget is to get a license. If your photo
booth is a franchise, make sure a permit is included in the package
you're getting. If you're on your own, go to your local city hall
and apply for a license before accepting clients.
